  • Carlington Roberts is a dynamic Jamaican-born gospel artist whose powerful voice and compelling life story have made waves across the international music scene. His journey began at the age of six, when he discovered his passion for singing. By high school, Carlington was already turning heads, winning local talent competitions and making a guest appearance on the popular Jamaican TV show Rapping.

In 1995, Carlington relocated to the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a platform to further his music career. After a life-altering tragedy—the loss of his father in a car accident—Carlington surrendered his life to Christ at the age of 18. This pivotal moment would forever redefine his purpose and musical direction.

His powerful testimony and soulful voice soon caught attention in the South Florida gospel scene, where he won a major gospel competition and released his debut single, How Can I Say No. Carlington quickly rose to prominence, earning multiple awards including “Best Vocalist of the Year,” “Best Singer of the Year,” and “Best Album of the Year.”

In 2005, he released his debut album I’m Gonna Soar, a bold declaration of his rising influence in gospel music. A few years later, in 2011, Carlington gained national recognition after auditioning for BET’s hit show Sunday Best. His reggae-infused rendition of Lord, I Lift Your Name on High earned him a spot in the Top 7 finalists, solidifying his place as a standout voice in contemporary gospel.
Now based in McDonough, Georgia, Carlington continues to grow his platform. His 2012 album Freedom featured collaborations with top gospel talents such as Papa San, Talein Harris, Pastor Ronnie Bridges, and Pastor Jayme Easey. He has made notable television appearances, including TBN alongside gospel legends BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Atlanta Live on Channel 57.

In 2024, Carlington released his latest album, A New Day—a powerful project that reflects his spiritual growth, resilience, and unwavering faith. Known for his heartfelt worship, Carlington brings a contemporary edge reminiscent of gospel greats like Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, and Fred Hammond.

Beyond the stage, Carlington is a devoted husband to his wife Jennifer, and a proud father to their two sons, Giovanni and Amir. With a rich vocal range, anointing, and a heart for worship, Carlington Roberts continues to impact lives around the world—one song at a time.

    Psalm 40:3 (KJV)
